GLYCOMICS: The Study of Sugars |
A BREAKTHROUGH DISCOVERY!
OPTIMAL HEALTH = ALL NECESSARY NUTRIENTS :Proteins-amino acids, Fats, Lipids-Fatty Acids - Vitamins & Minerals & CARBO-HYDRATES- GLYCOnutrients (necessary Sugars)
To maintain a healthy body, cells must “talk” to each other. Their language is one of touch, written in saccharides or simple sugars on the cell surfaces. Certain sugars attach to proteins or to fats on the surface of cells to perform functions vital for cell survival.
Like thousands of different “keys” projecting from the cell surface, they will either unlock the required functions of the adjoining cell or not.
If the “right keys” are available, the body functions smoothly. If not, it doesn’t!
Read that line again!
Certain sugars attach either to proteins or to fats on the surface of cells to perform functions vital for cell survival.
Our average diet is lacking in SIX
of the EIGHT necessary sugars.
Surface sugars on a cell serve as points of attachments, identification and communication for other cells, infectious bacteria, viruses, toxins, hormones and many other molecules. Dietary deficiencies can only be corrected with supplements that supply the “missing nutrient.” Herbs and drugs are not enough; ”only” the missing sugars will do! These simple sugars are our greatest need. They are basic to the entire structure and function of the body, bringing about wellness.
It is that simple!

“Criteria for the Age of Responsibility: Balance”
by

The 21st Century has been described as the Age of Responsibility. In the fields of metaphysics and holistic health we asses all dimensions of an individual to facilitate identification with the origin of an imbalance, which might manifest itself as an illness. This is the first step to taking personal responsibility for ones growth and/or healing potential. It is quite liberating for us to realize our body’s innate ability to heal.
The previous two centuries elicited a need for an “authority” to take responsibility for fixing or healing an imbalance. This proved worthy as the socio-economical climate of our evolution required other priorities to be attended to, and thus birthed a dependence on others to heal oneself when imbalances reared their ugly face.
Our lifestyles now dictate a need to have control over virtually everything! If we are feeling the least bit overwhelmed then we are reminded by our media that there is probably something wrong with us and that there is always a medication to fix the problem, in essence heal us. And we certainly are informed! We can learn as much as we feel we need to know about an illness simply by checking it out on the internet or reading up in the public medical libraries.
As we have allowed the fear factor of disease to reign over us we have manifested a serious situation in our society. Cancer, auto-immune disorders and heart disease hold court over every American’s consciousness these days and it is difficult to avoid the influence. And all because the old authorities in the realm of health care say it is so!
We have arrived at an exciting position in our evolution; we can be informed and understand better the why’s and how’s of our health and feel capable of addressing the issues with available tools, some conventional and some complementary. We are reclaiming our ability to activate our innate healing mechanism!
In the latter part of the 20th century we have witnessed many wonderful medical advances, in both the knowledge and technology of medicine and subsequent treatment programs. There has blossomed a field of medicine known as psychoneuroimmunology, a philosophy of medicine that honors the consciousness and its ability to govern the biology, thus reemphasizing the “mind over matter” concept of the early 1900’s.
We now know that stress is the primary contributing factor to all illness and disease, injury included, with an exception being the random accident. Stress induces imbalance which translates to such states of being. But does it have to be this way anymore?
What if you could control your biology? It’s not such a bizarre concept! If our consciousness has the ability to govern the biological functions then CAN we redirect our consciousness? The answer is a resounding “YES”!
And WILL it really be effective? YES! SO STAY TUNED!
